Win a superb set of garden furniture
SUMMER has arrived, and you are relaxing in
the garden, but are you sitting comfortably, and in garden furniture
that also happens to look good? No? Well, The Garden Armchair
Company can make you quality chairs and settees, hand-crafted
by people who care about wood, and who will guarantee that you
will sit in the most comfortable garden furniture ever. The first
Scottish company to make the classic range of Adirondack furniture
uses African Iroko timber because of its high durability and maximum
weather resistance - making the pieces ideally suited to the variations
of the Scottish climate.
Each piece is handmade to order and is delivered fully assembled,
and fully treated to go straight into the garden on arrival. All
fixings used are either stainless steel or brass, and the furniture
is guaranteed for five years.

Win free tickets to a unique maze
MAZES have a certain magic, and it's a shame
there are so few of them. But this summer the Borders has one
of its own - and it sounds rather special. The Fishwick Mains
Amazing Maize Maze will be about 4ft 6in high when it opens on
July 14 and should be about 10ft by the time it closes eight weeks
later. It's designed in the shape of two leaping salmon, though
that won't be apparent as you wander in increasing desperation
round its three miles of pathways.
It's been designed by maze master Adrian Fisher, who has created
more than 200 mazes around the world.
Open July 14-September 15, 11am-5pm, details on
01289 386111.
We have four family tickets, each admitting two adults and two
children, any day.
To win one, jot your answer to this question on a postcard and
send to
Maze Competition,
Caledonia,
28 Melville Street,
Edinburgh
EH3 7HA.
Closing date July 29, usual rules apply and the editor's decision
is final.
